Apostle Tilaki Barksdale-Henry is a native of Wilmington, De. The oldest of 3 Children, born to James and Rebecca DeShields. She was reared as a youth in St. James Holiness Church of Snow Hill, Md. At the age of 19 she was called to preach and teach the Gospel. She is an Awesome Preacher, Teacher, Prophetess, Spoken Word artist, and Author.

“Apostle T” or “The Revelator” as she is affectionately called has a passion for God’s people to be restored back to Him, and will often sound the alarm and lead as the Lord leads her. In 2005 she seriously answered the call of ministry upon her life and submitted herself to Lifeline Outreach Ministries under the Leadership of Apostle Terrence B. Walker where she preached her first sermon in 2007 and licensed as a minister. She has choreographed and led the praise dance ministry, taught Sunday school, led prayer, led street evangelism, and excelled in all Theological classes and studies that were being offered at the Church.

In 2009 she was led to submit her gifts to Incorruptible Seed Worship Center under the tutelage of Bishop Theron Traylor and Apostle Leonette Collins, here is where her prophetic gifting was further cultivated, she hosted women’s conferences that are still popular and being held today. She has led their women’s ministry, nursing homes outreach, street evangelism, and has served the homeless. In 2011 she was ordained as Elder and served that office with excellence and faithfully. In December of the same year the pastoral, and prophetic call was recognized upon her life and she was publicly ordained as Pastor, and held the office of the Associate Pastor of Incorruptible Seed Worship Center.

In April 2013 she felt the Lord calling her to bring forth NuVision Christian Fellowship. NuVision Christian Fellowship was launched in Sept of 2014. The Lord shifted her ministry in 2019 which now allows her to travel all over the world to encourage others in the hope of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Apostle is now serving as an affiliate Apostle under the leadership of Apostle Dr. Leonette Collins at The Grow Place in Wilmington, DE.

She has gotten many souls saved by her rough and rugged approach that’s laced with love. She often tells people when she’s ministering “I can relate to you because I’m from where y’all are from” and they appreciate the realness of her testimony.

She is the author of three published books, “My Life- A spiritual Journey”, “ If it hurts say Ouch”, and “ All Caught Up”. She has hosted many men’s and women’s conferences that are still in high demand today. She has an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies and Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, Ga.

She has two children Quadrice her son who went home to be with the Lord in 2015, her daughter La’Kei, and granddaughter Brielle and grandson Brandon Jr.

Her Kingdom assignment is driven by Isaiah 50:4 “The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should speak a word in season to him that is weary.
